Sweet Sweet Chili

Hey, It’s Heidi from Michigan.
The weather is getting a bit chilly here. Which of course makes me think of….well, CHILI. Warm sweet delicious Chili with a little bit of spice with a side of cornbread and homemade honey butter. Is your mouth watering yet? It makes a good amount of food so it was the perfect meal to make this past Sunday. We fed the missionaries and one batch fed four adults and four younger children with seconds. To say the chili was a hit would be an understatement! In fact, they actually asked me for the recipe! I felt like patting myself on my back for a job well done. There was downside to this meal: the leftovers! 😩 there were none! My husband and I were pretty disappointed. I love easy yummy leftovers. So guess what was on the menu again last night. Yep, you guessed it, Chili. Luckily it’s a big hit with the kids too so it’s a win-win situation.

I am a kind and caring person and I just thought it would be plain rude of me to not share this recipe with you. The greatest part about it is that it is so easy! I mean like grab a can opener, brown some meat, and you pretty much have meal, easy. I’m all about easy meals these days. I used to be that mom that made meals four or five nights a week. But you know what? Life changes and our schedule has gotten crazy, so I am doing what works for me, and the easier the meals the better! That is how I roll!

So if you’re looking for an easy meal, that is super delicious, and a great Fall recipe, look no further. Disclaimer! I’m not a food blogger so it isn’t a step by step with pictures but like I said, if you can operate a can-opener you’ll be just fine.
