Serious Instant Pot Warning

Emily in Missouri here! I just received an early Christmas present, an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker! When I got my pressure cooker I was a little nervous of it exploding so I made sure to read all of the instructions...

This one makes me especially nervous, I'm not sure I want any serious bums around here.

Okay, well now that I've had my Instant Pot almost a week, I'm a master. Some reviews say there is a learning curve, but everything I make is a work of art...

But in all honesty, if you are new to the Instant Pot like me, here is a recipe you can't mess up! (Mine turned out on the first attempt so it's pretty fool proof!)

Chicken Parmesan Spaghetti Squash

1 Spaghetti Squash
2 Frozen Chicken Breasts
1 tsp Italian Seasonings
1 Cup Marinara
1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese


Place 1 cup water in your pressure cooker. Add frozen chicken and seasonings and cook on high pressure for 10 minute then dump excess water.

Shred chicken and set aside.

Then cut Squash in half, remove the seeds, add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the pressure cooker and place both halves of the squash and cook on high for 20 minutes.

Remove squash and shred squash while keeping it in the skin.

Put squash on a baking sheet and add marina, shredded chicken and top with mozzarella . Broil for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbling!
